Cape Cod National Seashore cracked the list of top 10 national parks visited in 2020 with 4.1 million visitors. "We weren't sure what the summer was going to present," Cape Cod National Seashore Superintendent Brian Carlstrom said Thursday during a briefing by the Cape Cod COVID-19 Response Task Force. What the National Seashore experienced was a wave of visitors to its six beaches and trails that was so big it placed the Seashore at No. 9 on a list of the most frequented national parks last year, Carlstrom said. There were more visitor trips last year to the Cape Cod National Seashore than to Yosemite or Yellowstone, he said.
