Cape Cod National Seashore cracked the list of top 10 national parks visited in 2020 with 4.1 million visitors. "We weren't sure what the summer was going to present," Cape Cod National Seashore Superintendent Brian Carlstrom said Thursday during a briefing by the Cape Cod COVID-19 Response Task Force. What the National Seashore experienced was a wave of visitors to its six beaches and trails that was so big it placed the Seashore at No. 9 on a list of the most frequented national parks last year, Carlstrom said. There were more visitor trips last year to the Cape Cod National Seashore than to Yosemite or Yellowstone, he said.

Ptown in the fall is fantastic! Reserve your spot now.
The Cape Cod light is extraordinary in Provincetown any day, but in the fall, it is downright striking. Aside from the magnificent light, there are minimal restaurant lines, many stores have sales, the weather is still good with temps in the mid-fifties, and the locals are happy and laid-back—all making it the perfect time to visit Provincetown.
No one knows exactly when the first gay kiss was planted in America, but if one had to guess, Provincetown might be the best answer to come across your lips. Known for years as the epicenter of America’s gay scene, Provincetown holds the past and the future in a two-mile stretch of sand and sea. The Mayflower Compact was signed out in the Provincetown harbor as any historian might tell you, and before the little boat sailed onto its second landing in Plymouth, there’s no one who can deny or confirm what exactly happened in the dunes as the Pilgrims went ashore for a little exploring.
